Anastasia Deordica is an online slots expert and gambling analyst at Casinoz. She has been with the project since 2010, joining as one of the youngest staff members of Casinoz: she got into the industry on her own and learned its specifics under the guidance of experienced editorial colleagues. Today she is an independent expert with her own niche: analysis of game mechanics, the history and trends of gambling, and the specifics of slot manufacturers.

Her strong side is the ability to see the hidden weaknesses and strengths of online slots: what the declared RTP actually means depending on the chosen feature, which providers are known for unstable volatility and which for predictable volatility, how the same basic mechanic is implemented differently by different studios. This comparative lens helps Casinoz readers make informed choices not based on the marketing buzz around new releases, but on the real characteristics of slots.

Anastasia's approach to testing is theoretical and systematic. She does not play for large amounts — she first tests every slot in demo mode, paying special attention to mobile versions, because a significant share of the Casinoz audience today plays from phones. She studies the mechanics of bonus rounds, checks the work of wild substitutions, tracks slot behaviour over a long distance. This allows her to rely on real observations in her reviews, not on the marketing materials of providers.

In addition to technical reviews, she writes materials on the history of the gambling industry and market trends — how slots have changed from the first mechanical three-reels to megaways and cluster mechanics, what determines the success of a given wave of new releases, how the industry reacts to regulatory changes. A separate direction is psychological support for players: materials on how to keep control over the game, when to stop, and how to distinguish healthy entertainment from addiction.
